Charlie Cuthbertson James of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Charlotte, Age 90, Died Saturday July 11, 1964 in Tampa, Florida. Born June 4, 1874 in Marshville, NC, son of the late John Langley and Louise Trull James. Before retirement he was associated with the Wearn Lumber Company [of Charlotte]. Funeral services will be held 4 PM Monday at the [Charlotte] First Church of the Nazarene. Officiating Rev. William H. Benson. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. E.E.[Mae]Seago of Tampa, Florida, Mrs. Richard R.[Elsie]Stiles of Charlotte, three sons, John L. James of Charlotte, Ernest C. and Harry C. James both of Tampa, 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Arrangements by McEwen Funeral Directors. Grandsons will be pallbearers. They are Ernest C. James, Jr., Erving James, Frank D. James, Richard R. Stiles, Jr., James W. Stiles and Jack V. Stiles.
