LeRoy D. Cumberledge, 55, of 128 East Elm Street, Waynesburg, was fatally injured in a highway accident at Waynesburg Saturday, March 31, 1973.
A son of John W. and Lucy Jane Conaway Cumberledge, he was born August 29, 1917 at Brave and had resided most of his life at Waynesburg.
Mr. Cumberledge was a painter and did construction work. He had been employed for seven years by the Pennsylvania Department of Highways, and for the past 13 months had worked for Patterson Brothers at Waynesburg.
He was affiliated with the Waynesburg Church of God and was a member of Waynesburg Aerie 598, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving are his widow, Helen Morris Cumberledge, whom he married March 24, 1943; two daughters, one son, six grandchildren; two sisters, two half-sisters, and five half-brothers.
Three brothers are deceased.
