She was the widow of John F. 'Jack' Gavin, (born PA).

"Florence B. Gavin
Memorial services for Florence B. Gavin, 94, of Ojai will be held this morning at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel. The burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park in Ventura. a rosary will be recited at 10 a.m.
Mrs. Gavin died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 1991, in a San Diego Convalescent hospital after a brief illness.
She was born June 28, 1896 in Santa Barbara and was a lifetime resident of the county, moving to San Diego six weeks ago for medical treatment.
She was a descendent of the Barnard and De La Guerra families.
Donations may be made to St. Thomas Aquinas Grammar School.
Arrangements are under the direction of Joseph P. Reardon Funeral Chapel, Ventura."
