Hazel J. Crytzer, 79, of Kittanning, Cowanshannock Township, died Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, in Kittanning Care Center. She was born April 15, 1932, in Cowanshannock Township, a daughter of the late Robert H. and Harriett (Schrecengost) Goldstrohm. She enjoyed camping, gardening and bluegrass. Most of all, she loved to spend time with family and friends. Surviving are two sons, Robert Crytzer and his wife, Melissa, of Kittanning, and Samuel Crytzer and his wife, Beth, of Kittanning; four grandchildren, Amanda Crytzer, Brian Crytzer, Kelly Lute and Nathan Crytzer; two great-granddaughters, Isla and Adrie Livengood; three brothers, William Goldstrohm, of Indiana, Pa., Harold Goldstrohm, of Kittanning, and Samuel Goldstrohm, of Dayton; and a sister, Edith Elliott of Home, Pa. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Eddie Crytzer Jr., who died April 5, 1995. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the CARSON/BOYER FUNERAL HOME INC., 724 Main St., Rural Valley. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Micah McMillen officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery, Kittanning. www.carsonboyer.com.
