"Mrs. Rena B. Barnes, 87, of 2209 S. Main St. Madisonville, died at 6:15 a.m. Sunday at the Hopkins County Hospital.
She was born July 31, 1891 in Greeneville, Tenn., the daughter of the late Henry and Lucy Francisco Brown.
She was a member of D.A.R. and the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Bill (Glenna) Corum of 2209 S. Main St.; a sister, Mrs. J.B. James of Winston-Salem, N.C.; a grandson, William M. Corum of Princeton Pike, Madisonville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Lanny G. Finley of Route 4, Madisonville; three great grandchildren, Caroline and Ashby Corum, and Noelle Finley, all of Madisonville.
The Funeral will be a 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kiser Funeral Home in Greeneville, Tenn. with Dr. Hugh Simon officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery there.
Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. tonight at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kiser Funeral Home."
