ELIZABETH MARIE CANFIELD: 84; formerly of Medina, passed away Wednesday [7-23] at the Country Lawn Care Center-Navarre OH. She was born in Cleveland to John & Cora Kenzig & resided in Medina County since the 1920s, moving to Navarre in 2002. MrsCanfield was a registered nurse, retiring from Deconess Hosp in Cleveland in 1988 after 20 years of service. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in ValleyCity, where she was a former Sunday School teacher & choir member. She loved her dogs, working in the yard & gardening.
MrsCanfield is survived by 2 sons: Darryl (sp-Claudia) Canfield-Dalton OH; Bruce (sp-Cindy) Canfield-Collierville TN & 5 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; hus-band Charles-1993, grandson Douglas-2001, infant granddau Polly & bros: Carl Kenzig-1969 & John Kenzig-1982.
Visitation will be Sunday at Bauer Funrl Home-ValleyCity; service will be Monday morning [7-28] at Zion Lutheran Church-Abbeyville Rd; Rev Ted Pelikan will officiate. Burial in Zion Lutheran Cem. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
