Survived by wife, Venida "Billye" Blockcolski Hancock Harvey and daughter, Jana Chelyene Harvey, both of the home. Sons Gayen Hancock of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Robert "Butch" Hancock of Frederick, Oklahoma; Daughters Patricia Hancock of Eden, North Carolina and Marcia Hancock Young,of Wisconson; 11 grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Retired from Feildcrest Mills, Inc. as an Industrial Engineer.
Died in Vetrans Hospital, Durham, NC due to complications that arose during open-heart surgery.
