Peacefully at the Carpenter Hospice in Burlington on December 4, 2011, Vera Langton of Waterdown, at the age of 77, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Predeceased by her loving husband James Langton. Dear sister of Graham Sutherland. Beloved mother of Tom, Patricia and her husband Mike Case, Marnie Roberts, Glenn, Julie and her husband Mike Snow. Loving grandmother of Tammy, Keri, Adam, Joe, Shane, Brad, Alan, John, Dawn, Alexandra, Jessica and Hunter. Loved and missed by extended family and friends. Special thanks to Marilyn, Mary, and her cousin Jack. The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers at the Carpenter Hospice, Dr. Eisener and Dr. Muhkerjee for their loving care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral service will held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1 p.m. followed by a reception. Donations to the Carpenter Hospice, Burlington or Cancer Assistance Program, Hamilton would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
