Bob met his wife Judy at Northern Arizona University where he attended school after having served in the Army for two years. After graduating, they moved to Yuma where Bob taught for three years before becoming a principal at Crane School. After 25 years they moved to Parker where he was the principal of Wallace Elementary School for an additional 10 years. His sense of humor not only reflected his lightheartedness, but it made him an instant friend or father-figure to all who met him. Bob's faith in Christ has influenced his children and grandchildren to lead lives devoted to their maker.
John is survived by his wife, Judy, and their sons and daughters; John, Mark, and David Sells, Deborah Campbell and Elizabeth Firlein. He also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of life held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the United Methodist Church in Parker, AZ. Located at 1300 S. Ocotillo Avenue.
