Mr. Storms was born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., moved to Brewster, N.Y., in 1946 and then to Florida in 1999.
He retired in 1996 after 30 years as a driver for Brad & Palmer Label Corp. in Carmel, N.Y. He was a member of St. Lawrence Church in Brewster and loved to walk his dog Patches.
Mr. Storms is survived by a son, Frederick of DeLand; six daughters, Mary Totten of Cornwall Bridge, Patricia Folchetti of Mahopac, N.Y., Rosemary Jones of Danbury, Virginia Bishop of Holmes, N.Y., Debbie Walsh of DeLand and Sharon Dean of New Milford; three brothers, Franklin of San Diego, Calif., William of Highland, N.Y., and Alfred of Poughkeepsie; 32 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
A graveside service will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Brewster.
