Passes Away - Mrs. Chas. Miller, former resident of this city dies at Anderson, Ind. - She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. S. Fox of near Hillgrove.
Mrs. Charles F. Miller, 53, who lived till seven years ago at Hillgrove, died at 3:30 this morning in St. John's Hospital, Anderson,Ind., from an attack of apoplexy. She was found unconscious Thursday morning on the floor of the bathroom of her home at No. 3027 Brown street by her daughter, Anna Lee, who had just come home from school. The stricken woman, who had been in delicate health for several years, was removed to the hospital, but she never regained consciousness.
Mrs. Miller was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. S. Fox, well known farmers living south of Hillgrove, and she spent most of her life in that community. She was active in church work, was a noble wife and mother, and a most obliging neighbor. The removal of the family to Anderson occasioned deep regret from the community. Mrs. Miller is survived by her husband, who is a mechanic on the Big Four Railroad;her aged parents of near Hillgrove; and the following six children; Glenden of Columbus, O.; Alice Catherine who is at home; Sarah Elizabeth of Dayton; Margaret Ellen, Charles Leslie, and Anna Lee who are at home. Surviving also are one grandson, Richard Miller, of Columbus, and one brother, Cornell Fox, of south of Hillgrove.
Mrs. Miller's last visit here was on the occasion of the funeral of John Weiss several weeks ago. Funeral plans for her have not been completed.
(The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in the U. B. church at Anderson, Ind. Interment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Anderson, Ind.)
