In May of 1916 Oceania graduated from Jewish Hospital in Philadelphia,Pa. with a degree in Nursing. Soon after graduation World War I was announced and Oceania was called to serve for the American Red Cross. She was sent to the battle front in France at a military hospitol camp, #42 Bar Sur Aube, France. She served here until the end of the war. She attained the rank of Lieutenant. She also served as Physician. Upon returning to the US, she met and married William H Graham.

She and William had four children. Wanda, David, William, and Dolly.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
