Kristine Noelle Bufkin, 25 of Lubbock, died Saturday. Celebration of Life Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, at Monterey Baptist Church with Dr. Jim Brown officiating. Her family will receive friends this evening from 5:30-7 p.m. at Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
Kristine was born Dec. 21, 1982, in Lubbock. She attended Monterey High School and South Plains College. She was a sound technician for many music venues in the West Texas area.
Survivors include her son, Blaze Bufkin; parents, Keri Vincent and husband Shayne of Lubbock, and Malcolm and wife Debi Bufkin of Breckenridge; brothers, Malcolm Bufkin, Jr., serving in the U.S. Army, Ben Vincent of Mt. Pleasant, Andy Vincent, Braden Vincent and Caleb Vincent, all of Lubbock; sisters, Kylie Thompson of North Carolina and Carol Matheson of Breckenridge. Also surviving are grandparents, Betty Bufkin of Cisco, Kathy Novak of Lubbock, Mike and Donna Ford of Weatherford and Kenneth and Ruth Vincent of Lubbock and Peter and Bobette Atwell of Breckenridge; great-grandmother, Carolyn Novak of Lubbock and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
