WILSON COLLINS BAKER, 73, of Blue Ridge, died Wednesday, January 20, 1999. He was retired from Norfolk Southern Railway after 41 years of service. He was permanent Master Judge of the National Chrysanthemum Society and also the local Blue Ridge Society.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda Baker Bishop and son-in-law, Richard C. Bishop; a son, Stephen Wilson Baker, of Roanoke; best friend and former wife, Elizabeth Baker; three grand-daughters, Kimberly Bishop Cook, of Roanoke, Meredith Whitney Bishop, of Roanoke, Jessica Elizabeth Baker, of Hardy.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, January 22, 1999 in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Thomas P. O'Dell officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's South Chapel.
