Anna Katherine Wiser Warden "Annie K" or "Kate" as she was called was born 14 March 1859 in Neosho, Dodge, WI to Margaret Gray (from Scotland) and Mathias Wiser of Prussia.

She and two sisters came to Spink Co., SD (Helen Wiser Tyrell and Margaret Wiser Travis). Their mother joined them after 1900 and died there in 1906 but was brought back to WI for burial with Mathias.

She married James Robert Warden 12, January, 1881 in Hustisford, Dodge, WI recorded in Vol 6 page 444. They had two daughters: Jessie and Pearl.
