Chris tragically died at the age of 15 in a car surfing accident. A resident of Portage, IN until 2 months before his death, he left behind his legacy there. He had recently moved with his family to Punta Gorda, FL where he died November 3, 2003. 4 days after his accident. Surviving are his loving parents, John M. (Christina) Trowbridge of Punta Gorda and Jodi (Wes) Runyan of Gary, Ind.; one brother, Brandon Shrader of Merrillville, Ind.; two sisters, Jacklynne Trowbridge of Punta Gorda and Jessica Runyan of Gary; paternal grandfather, John C. Trowbridge of Valparaiso; maternal grandmother, Gloria Cooper of Las Vegas, Nev.; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Alice K. Trowbridge; and an aunt, Judith L. Trowbridge Brandt. He also left behind many friends and fans. RIP Chris. You are forever loved.
