1880 census, Eliza, age 25 and Joseph Parks, age 37, living in Joliet Illinois with children: Maggie, Charlotte, Laura, Eli and Samuel.

1900 census, her niece Ella, Laura May EVANS Kandel her brother Marvin Evans' daughter is being raised by her. After Eliza's death, her niece Laura lives for a time with Eliza's daughter Margaret Mc Donald per the 1910 census.
