Jeanne Yvonne Wattenbarger, 53, was born in Independence, Oregon, September 18, 1932. The daughter of Frank Zumwalt and Yvonne Grenier Zumwalt.

As a child she moved to Alameda, California, where she received her elementary education. She returned to Albany in 1945 and attended high school here.

Jeanne married Claude Wattenbarger May 1, 1949, in albany. They made their home in Albany. Jeanne was an Avon Representative for a while and also worked in other sales. She moved back to California in December 1984. Claude died in June of this year.

Survivors include two sons, Frank and David Wattenbarger, Albany; two daughters Doreena Duncan, Salem, Violetta Strawn, Jefferson; her mother, Yvonne Clayton, Hawthorne, Nevada; two brothers, John Zumwalt, Sacramento, California, Marty Clayton, albany; one sister Joyce Click, Hawthorne, Nevada. Jeanne is also survived by eight grandchildren.

She was a member of the Full Gospel church. Jeanne was a kind loving person and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
