HENRY NEAL DEAD
Well Known Citizen Passed Away Monday Evening
Friends and relatives learned of the death of Henry A. Neal Monday evening, March 21, 1921, with much regret. Mr. Neal passed away at four o'clock after several months of declining health. He had been bedfast for the past three weeks. The cause of his death was hardening of the arteries.
Mr. Neal is survived by his wife, Alice Clark Neal and six children; Dallas, a prominent druggist of Gallipolis, Fred and Verne of Amsbry, Penna., Earl of Oregon and, Max and Frank of Gallipolis. The third eldest son, Claude, died of pneumonia in 1918, and, Hattie, the seven year old daughter, died in 1887.
Mr. Neal, in his early years, taught school and later, followed the grocery business. Of recent years he has been in poor health and retired. His fine qualities as a father, husband and citizen, have caused deep mourning among his countless friends.
The funeral will be held at the Neal home at 9:30 Wednesday morning with Rev. Morrell. The burial will be at Sand Fork preceded by a burial service at the Sand Fork M. E. Church. Interment will be at the Neal Cemetery, where passing members of his family have rested for many years.
