Brian Dean Wagner, son of Everett and Joan (Nickols) Wagner, was born July 16, 1974 at Creighton, NE. He attended St. Ludger Catholic School and grauduated from Creighton High school. He loved sports and was a state qualifer in wrestling his junior and senior years. He coached and played baseball. On Oct. 11, 1997, he married Kathleen Rose Guenther at St. Rose of LIma Catholic Church in Crofton. Two children were born to them. Tyler Dean and Devin John. After graduating from Northeeast Community college in Norfolk, he worked at Bodyworks and Tire Service in Creighton and then at Butch's 24 hour towiing in Royal. He then started his own business, B&K Auto Sales in Winnetoon. Brian was a member of St. Ludger Catholic Church in Creighton. He loved racing and was an IMCA official tech at Boone County Raceway in Albion. He both built and raced Outkast cars. The race drivers were like his second family. He enjoyed paintballing, fishing with the boys, playing ball, playing video games and being with all family and friends. Surviors include, his wife Kathleen of Creighton; sons; Tyler, age 3, and Devin, age 1; his parents, Everett and Joan Wagner of Winnetoon; sisters and their husbands, Julie and Dan Muehlbauer of Norfolk, Pamela and Gerald Kreinert of Osmond, Donna Wagner of Norfolk and Lisa and Mark Koeppe of Hadar; a brother Jon and his wife, Pam Wagner of Winnetoon; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Mattie Wagner and Raymond and Leora Nickols. Funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m.at St. Ludger Catholic church here with burial in St. Ludger Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church with a 7:30 p.m. wake.
