Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Victor M. and Mary Kate Blue. He was a foreman of Hartman & Hartman Construction Company and attended Mauldin First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Beatrice B. Blue of the home; a son, Bubba Blue of Simpsonville; two daughters, Robin Tolbert and Stephanie Harrison, both of Simpsonville; five step-sons, Kenneth L. Blue of Anniston, Ala., Tony Huckeba of Greenville, Ricky Huckeba of Opalaka, Ala., Johnny Muse of LaFollette, TN. and Jerry Muse of LaFollette, TN.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Jeff (Donna) Austin of Cusseta, Ga., Mrs. Wesley (Debra) Harry of Cusseta, Ga., Wanda Sue Muse and Connie Jane Muse, both of LaFollette, TN.; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at the Jones-Brashier Funeral Home, Westside Chapel. The body is at the funeral home where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-8:30 PM. The family is at the residence.
