Goecker, Marjorie - 1620 Cromewll, age 61, died Wednesday, August 28, 1968, at St Joseph Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Friday, August 30, 1968, at the Floral Chapel, Dodds-Dumanois Co Funeral Home. Dr David E Molyneaux officiating. Cremation in Flint Memorial Park. Mrs Goecker will remain at the Dodds-Dumanois Co. Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church. Suggested vising hours are 3-5 and 7-9 pm. Mrs Goecker was born in Boyne City, Michigan, May 22, 1907, and had been a resident of Flint for the last 31 years coming from Boyne City. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mrs Goecker was the past president of Kiwanis ladies auxiliary, a board member of Flint Planned Parenthood, a board member of Goodwill Industries and an active member of the Red Cross. Mrs Goecker was a school teacher at Central High School for 20 years, retiring in 1962. Surviving are: Husband, Louis E Goecker; 2 sons, Louis F Goecker of Flint and James W Goecker of Kalamazoo; 2 daughters, Mrs Jane Ann Mauck of Pittsburgh and Mrs Barbara J Grills of Saginaw; 6 grandchildren.
