Addie is the sixth child of Joshua Rogers and Permelia Peterson Rogers and was born in Lee Center, Lee, Illinois on Feb 2, 1863. Addie was the 1st wife of Charles Archer, married in 1880 in Sublette, IL and they soon left for Crystal, Tama Co., Iowa along with Addie’s widowed mother, Permelia. Addie died in Crystal, Tama, Iowa on Jan 23, 1893 and her body was returned to Lee County, Illinois for burial in Evergreen Cemetery, where her father and some of her Rogers siblings were buried. Her mother, Permelia, died two years later in 1895 and her body was also returned to Lee County for burial.
Her husband is buried in Iowa.
