Obituary
Eden Rex Reed, 613 West Main, died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday in a local hospital. A retired plumber, Mr. Reed was born in Billings, Missouri, February 26, 1888 son of John W. and Isabell Lamoore Reed. He came to Ada in 1910.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Smith Funeral Home chapel. Rev. George Vance will officiae. Grandsons will be casketbearers. Interment will be in Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Reed is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mae Reed, four daughters, Mrs. Juanita Williams, Ava, Mo.; Mrs. Vinita Tollman, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Sylvia Sammons, Grange, Calif.; and Mrs. Alta Hodges, Ada; three sons, Elzie and Merle Reed, both of Ada; and Bill Reed, Orange, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
