After fifty years of married life, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Culler celebrated Sunday at their home, 1315 East Fifth Street. Their five children, twenty-five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren assembled to spend the day. The house was a bower of golden flowers and trimmings, with tall vases of golden-glow arranged in the different rooms. In the dining room, where the anniversary feast was served, yellow daisies graced the table. Presents in gold and many flowers were among the gifts received by the aged couple.
Mr. and Mrs. Culler were married at Berlin, Ohio, and came to Canton twenty-seven years ago. The Children are; Mrs. Etta Platz of Howard, Kansas, who was present for the occasion, James Culler of Louisville, Frank Culler and John Culler of Canton, and Mrs. Harvey Unkefer, of this city. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. David A. Brown, of Canton. Mr. Culler who is 73 years old, is hale and hearty and Mrs. Culler is active at 71 years.

Jacob E. Culler, 90, died early Wednesday morning in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harvey W. Unkefer, 926 Harriet Avenue NW, Mr. Culler is survived by two sons, James Culler, of Louisville, and frank Culler of Canton; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Platz, of Kansas and Mrs. Unkefer at whose home he died. Two sisters and one brother, also survive.
