Mrs. Billa Jean Sweeten, 79, of Ocala, died Saturday, December 10, 2011 at her residence. A native of Arkansas, she moved to Ocala in 1986, coming here from Apopka. A homemaker, for years Mrs. Sweeten also owned Jean's Plants, where she grew and provided flowers and plants for many people in this area. She was a member of the Anthony Church of Christ. She is survived by her daughters Blendia C. Ramey, Glendia D. Ramey, and Rhonda C. Bellinger, her son Ronnie C. Sweeten, brothers Dwight Reagan , Jerry Reagan, Neil Reagan, Ross Reagan, Byron Reagan, David Reagan, sisters Phillis Reagan, Judith Reagan, and Debera Latimer, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband R. C. Sweeten and her brother Jimmy Reagan. Funeral services for Mrs. Sweeten will be held at 2:30 PM Friday, December 16, 2011 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 910 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala, with Minister Gregory Crews officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1 PM until service time.
