MARION -- Brian D. West, 37, passed away at 7:44 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, in Marion Rehab and Care Center.
Brian was born June 15, 1974, in Marion, to Jack and Beverly (Reese) West. He attended First Church of God in Marion.
Survivors include his aunt and caregiver, Jennifer Rich of Marion; father, Jack West of Marion; son, Steven West of Marion; daughter, Stephanie West of Marion; brother, Jerry West of Johnston City; aunt, Paula Rentfro of Marion; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and grandparents, Paul and Ruby Reese and Dean and Vadia West.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, in Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, with Chad Harlan officiating. Inurnment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of southern Illinois and will be accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 N. Market St. Marion, IL 62959.
