Lorraine Naomi Vokach, 92, died Dec. 10, 2011, at Good Samaritan Center, Hutchinson.

She was born Jan. 22, 1919, in Barneston, Neb., the daughter of Elmer L. and Blanche (Svoboda) Pribyl.

She graduated from Barneston High School in 1936. Lorraine was a resident of Hutchinson since 1943 moving from Wichita, and was a lifetime member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

On Aug. 23, 1938, she married Eldon P. Vokach in Beatrice, Neb. he died June 28, 2001.

Survivors include: a daughter, Karen Williams and husband Gayland of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Debby Chronister and husband Steve of Nickerson; great-grandchildren, Kayla Chronister and Steven Chronister II; sisters, Delores Holmes of Oklahoma City, Okla., Jeanette Smith of Lincoln, Neb.; a brother, Dick Pribyl of Lincoln, Neb.; sister-in-law, Rosie Pribyl of Lincoln, Neb.; brother-in-law, Johnny Mencl of Virginia, Neb.; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Leroy Pribyl and a sister, Glenadine Mencl.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011, at Elliott Mortuary Chapel, with Chaplain Bob Phipps presiding. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Reno County in care of the mortuary.
