Arthur worked in several garages, gas stations and car dealerships in Chicago, Oak Park, Cicero and Berwyn. Mr. Damm was a sales manager for Sun Electric Corporation, from 1955 until his retirement in July of 1980. Sun Electric Corporation was the world's largest manufacturer of Automotive Engine Test Equipment.
Arthur enjoyed Golf and had a hole in one at the age of 74. He also liked bowling, billiards, chess, and checkers.
Arthur is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Donald Arthur Damm and Janet Pickens.
SIBLINGS: Roger, Lucille and Dorothy.
Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Arthur was also preceded in death by his sister Elsie.
Cremation rites were accorded. An inurnment will take place at a later date at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
