Doctor and Poet Lose Son; Five are Hurt, Five Missing

Corp Howard Ewing, husband of Mrs. Mary Ewing, 194 Ohio Ave and son of Mrs. Ann Ewing, 119 Liberty St, both of Newport, has been missing in Belgium since December 19th.

Lives Sacrificed In Battles By Two North Kentuckians; Eight Others Are Casualties

Corp Howard Ewing, 23 husband of Mrs Mary Ewing, 194 Ohio Ave and son of Mrs Anna Ewing 719 Liberty St, both of Newport, was killed in Belgium December 19th.
