LaVerda was preceded in death by: infant son, Leland Miller.
Survivors are: husband, Don Miller of Aurora; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Sherri Miller of Aurora, Russell and Tara Miller of Phillips and Duane and Laurie Miller of Lincoln; daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Rob Glahe of Wheaton, Ill., Kathy and Cliff Lawton, Marcia Miller, all of Aurora and Shelly and Matt Schultze of Overland Park, Kan.; 15 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; brother, Ed Dadey of Marquette; and sister, Geraldine Welsh of Pharr, Texas.
LaVerda grew up in the Bradshaw area, where she graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Donald Miller on May 18, 1952, at Aurora. LaVerda worked at Memorial Hospital for 18 years as a Dietary Aid.
LaVerda was a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church. She had a strong love for flowers and it remained strong until her death. LaVerda enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
LaVerda was also preceded in death by her parents, and grandson, Derek Schultze.
Burial was in the Aurora Cemetery, Aurora, NE.
