Funeral services for Mr. Wade Tinsley Stone, 78, of Celina, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Celina with John Mark Hayes officiating.
Burial was in Stone Cemetery.
Mr. Stone died Tuesday, Aug. 22 at Overton County Nursing Home. He was a park ranger, and a member of Beech Bethany Church of Christ.
Born January 11, 1928, in Clay County, he was the son of the late Lee and Della (Smith) Stone. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Stone; a brother, John Fowler Stone; and a sister, Elizabeth Pendleton.
Survivors include a son, Eric Stone of Cookeville; a daughter, Suzanne Stone of Celina; and a granddaughter, Amber Elizabeth Stone of Celina.
