Romie D. Duncan, age 77, of Sulligent, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Kingsville Church of Christ with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. W.T. Allison will be officiating. Visitation will be from 1 until 2 PM at Kingsville Church of Christ on Thursday. Pallbearers: Steve Duncan, Truman Lochridge, Oneal Lochridge, John Lochridge, Rick Lochridge, and Lewis Burnett. Mr. Duncan was born April 8, 1934 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late Earnest and Lona Bell Johnson Duncan. He was a member of Kingsville Church of Christ. Mr. Duncan was formerly an elder at Detroit Church of Christ and Red Bay Church of Christ. He loved his cat, Callie, and beloved dog Scooter. Mr. Duncan was very consumed in making his logging company, Duncan Logging, work and his livelihood was always about work.
