BRAZZEL RITES THIS AFTERNOON
Funeral Services Conducted From home In Oolitic At 2 O'Clock
Funeral services for Cynthia Jane Brazzel, widow of William Brazzel, who passed away Saturday afternoon at 12:45 o'clock at her home in Oolitic, were conducted at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the home of Rev. Warren A. Sanders with Day & Carter in charge of the services.
Death occurred following a short illness from complications. Burial was made in the Hopkins cemetery following the services at the home.
Cynthia Jane Hatfield was born January 3, 1853 in Green(e) county to Mordici and Milley Richardson Hatfield and at the time of her death was 77 years, 10 months, and 12 days old. On March 25, 1871 in Green(e) county, she was married to William Brazzel, who passed away December 6, 1926.
She was a member of the Baptist church of Greene county.
Mrs. Brazzel is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Weaver, of Oolitic; five Sons, Harve and Orley, of Oolitic; Dan, of Evansville; Elsworth and William, of Bedford; twenty-two grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
