Sydney is the sister of Chris (living) & Ben (living), and the daughter of Dean, with whom she is interred. Sydney was born in Richardson TX. Her mother left the family when Sydney was 5 and took Sydney with her. Sydney suffered neglect and hardship before her father was able to recover her at age 8. Her father then raised all 3 of his children by himself.
When he brought her home she was shy, retiring, and prone to crying. But Sydney had a bright personality and quickly recovered her former intelligence and precociousness and was involved in her schoolwork and social life - a testament to her, her friends, and her father. She was well on her way to becoming an accomplished and beautiful woman.
She died of a brain aneurysm the day before Thanksgiving after an 8th grade dance, just days after her 14th birthday.
