Mrs. Jane Davis, a life-long Saginaw county resident, died Sunday night at her home in Kochville township. Jane Otto was born Aug. 10, 1872, in Carrollton and shortly afterward the family moved to the farm in Kochville which since has been her home. She was married on Feb. 24, 1893, to Thomas J. Davis, who died Feb. 19, 1920. She was a member of Kochville Methodist church and of Strawberry arbor of Gleaners. She leaves two sons, Bernard F. of Carrollton township and Edward R. of Kochville Township; five grandchildren; a brother, Herbert A. Otto of Saginaw; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Davis, Mrs. Nellie Leuenberger and Mrs. Thomas Baker, all of Kochville. The funeral will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Case chapel and at 2:15 p.m. at Kochville Methodist church. Rev. Wesley Dafoe will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood.
