Kochville Native dies at Daughter's Home
Fred Davis, 84, a native of Kochville township and a resident there until five years ago, died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Bourdow, 6467 Davidson Road, Genesee County. He had made his home with his daughter since the death in 1941 of his wife, Belle Dupraw, whom he married in 1884. He was born Feb. 27, 1862. He leaves only his daughter, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He may be seen at the Case chapel after Monday noon.

Fred Davis. The funeral of Fred Davis, a lifelong resident of Kochville township, who died Saturday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Alfred Bourdow near Davidson, will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Case chapel. Rev. Peter Olsen will officiate with burial in Oakwood. Mr. Davis may be seen at the chapel.

Son of Jeremiah & Bridget (Kissane) Davis. Brother of John, Thomas, Richard and Jeremiah. Married Belle Dupraw in 1884. Father of 3 children. Only 1 survived to adulthood. Died at the home of his daughter Lora Bourdeau.
