Hazel, of Gilchrist, passed away Thursday at UTMB Hospital in Galveston after a sudden illness.
A native of Jasper County and a former resident of Nederland she had lived in Gilchrist for 16 years. She was a retired checker of Weingarten's.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen King.
Survivors include her sons, Darrell King and wife Sandy, Lance King and Dennis King; daughter, Brenda Pence and husband Doug; brothers, Thomas Yeates and wife Marlene, Harry Yeates and wife Louise; sister, Marie Thomas and husband Dan; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.
