George E. Dillon, 80, of Paducah died at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday at Lourdes Hospital.
Mr. Dillon was retired from Colonial Bakery of Paducah where he worked for 33 years and was self employed in lawn care business for 47 years. He was a Khoury League Softball coach for 25 years and was a member of Bakery and Confectionery Union of Kensington, Maryland. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Paducah.
He is survived by one son, Richard A. Dillon of Paducah; two daughters, Ruth West and Melissa Dillon, both of Paducah; two grandchildren, Mandi Hills and Brandon Campbell, both of Paducah; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.T. Dillon and Eula Madden Dillon; and nine brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Hughes Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Earl Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery in Graves County.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m until 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
