OBITUARY :
HARVEY E. BONEBRAKE, aged 80 years, Waynesboro Route 2, died Saturday at 5:05 p.m. at the Waynesboro Hospital.

He suffered a stroke on December 15 and was admitted to the hospital December 22. He had been critically ill and in a coma since last Tuesday.

He was born near Zullinger, son of George and Mary Ann (Funk) Bonebarake. His early life, until his marriage , he resided in the Zullinger section and then moved to Quincy Township where he farmed until 1938. He then operated a service station and garage at Five Forks for six years.

He served several terms as school director in Quincy Township and for 14 years was road supervisor.

Mr. and Mrs. Bonebrake celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on Thanksgiving.

He was a member of the Grindstone Hill Lutheran Church. He was also a member of the Order of Owls and a life member of the Mechanics Fire Company.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret A. (Young) Bonebrake, and these children, Mrs. John Hess, Waynesboro Route 1; Preston H. Bonebrake, Waynesboro; Mrs. Joseph E. Martin, Fayetteville; Chalice E. Bonebrake, Waynesboro Route 2 and Mrs. Arthur Oliver, Chambersburg. Nineteen grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a brother, George L. Bonebrake, Hagerstown, also survive.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Grove Funeral Home with Rev. Robert E. Carl and Dr. J. C. Sanders officiating. Interment will be made in Grindstone Hill.

Friends may call tonight from 7 until 9 o'clock at the funeral home.
