SCITUATE --- James L. Denison, 83, of Peep Toad Road, North Scituate, a driver messager for Brinks Inc. for 35 years before retiring in 1965, died yesterday at home. He was the husband of the late Amelia E. (Hargreaves) Denison.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Herbert H. and Elizabeth (Smith) Denison.
Mr. Denison was a charter member of the Scituate Senior Citizens, and a member of the Greenville Goldenaires.
He leaves a niece, Georgianna Picard of West Warwick.
A funeral service will be held tomorrow at noon at the Winfield and Sons Funeral Home, Route 116, North Scituate Village. Burial will be in Phillip's Memorial Cemetery, Foster.
