Mrs. Doris V. Clarke, 72, 223 Vernal, died Wednesday, March 4, at Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
Born Feb. 14, 1915, in Delavan, the former Doris Davis married Alvin Clarke on Sept. 15, 1932, in Woodstock, Ill. A longtime Milton area resident, she was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Richard of Milton; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers. Lawrence of Edgerton and Robert Davis of Milton; and two sisters, Elaine Shaw of Milton and Mary Hove of Edgerton.
Services were held Saturday, March 7 in Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton with burial in Milton Junction Cemetery.
