She had 10 ch. 5 sons and 5 daus. 2 died in infancy. J. L. eldest son died at age 7. Surv. are W.H. Hancock & Mrs. O.E. Montgomery of Fairfield, J.N. of Queens City, MO., G.L. of Bloomfield, Mrs. M. Watts of Ft. Madison, Mrs Dave Clark of Floris and Mrs. Frank Strauss of St. Louis. G.W. died 17 Aug. 1868. Four yeaers later she married Robert Owen, and had a dau. Mrs. Baumgarter of Bloomfield.
