Edward Eastwood, Sr.
Edward Eastwood, Sr., sixty nine, of Chenango Bridge, N. Y. formerly of Yonkers, was buried in Chenango Valley Cemetery , yesterday, Mr. Eastwood, who died at his home Friday after a long illness, was a resident of Yonkers for twelve years, between 1918 and 1930, and was associated with the Spreckles Sugar Refinery. Funeral services were held at the Claude H. Ackley Funeral Home at Chenango Bridge with the Rev. Emory Bancroft of Johnson City, N. Y, officiating. A widower, his wife was the former Frances Rose Wood. He was member of the Danbury Lodge, I. O. O. F., for more than forty years and attended the Grace Baptist Church of Binghamton. He is survived by six sons, Lewis, of Waterbury, Conn., Earl, of Hollywood; Jason of White Plains, Edward, Jr., of Chenango Bridge; Floyd, of Binghamton, and Ralph, of Syracuse. Also two daughters, Mrs. Inez Martin and Mrs. Dora Schrader, both of Chenango Bridge and several grandchildren.
