Obituary for Henry R. Brown was published in “The Times Dispatch” in Richmond, Virginia on 3/26/1941 on page 22.

“Funeral services for Henry R. Brown, president of the Brown Manufacturing Company of Greeneville, Tenn., who died Monday in Greeneville, will be held at 10:30 A.M. at the residence, with burial in Greeneville.
Mr. Brown, a son of the late Joseph R. Brown and Mrs. Josephine Broyles Brown, was a brother-in-law and guardian of Mrs. W.A. Porter of Richmond.
Surviving are three sons, Charles and Franc Brown of Greeneville and Joseph Brown of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. James B. James of Greenville, N.C., and Mrs. Montgomery Barnes of Lexington, KY.; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Sevier of Bristol and Mrs. Fannie Susong and Mrs. Bessie Milligan of Greeneville.”
