“Greeneville, Jan. 8. - W.A. Susong, aged 79 years, one of the best known and most highly respected citizens of this county, died at his home in Greeneville, Tuesday afternoon. He is survived by his widow, one daughter, Mrs. Thomas D. Brabson, and one son, Albert Susong, all of Greeneville.
Funeral services were conducted from the home Thursday afternoon and interment was in a Greeneville cemetery.
Mr. Susong had long been prominently identified with many business enterprises of Greene county. He also owned considerable property in Cocke county and also property in Knox county.”
