ALVEY J. FORD, died suddenly yesterday noon at his home in Mapleville at the age of 60 years.
He conducted a general store in Mapleville and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Tennie Ford, Mapleville and by sisters, Mrs. James Kinsey, of Edgemont and Mrs. Clayton Jackson of Byron, Ill. and Mrs. Jennie Jennie Jackson, Byron, Ill.; half-sisters, Mrs. Leila Shipley, of Polo, Ill. and half-brother, Roy Ford of Rockford, Ill.
Funeral services on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home by Rev. Frank Coleman, assisted by Rev. M. E. Ashley; interment in the Fahrney cemetery.
