Fannie J. Frank Ebersole Bland Bair, age 96, resident of Sunset Dr., Shelby died Sunday, January 18, 2004 in MedCentral/Shelby Hospital.

Born October 7, 1907 in Crestline to Aurora and Jennie (Molder) Frank the majority of her life was spent in Shelby. She was formerly employed with Wilkins Air Force Depot, Strubles Drug Store, Yellow Top Cab Co. and Westbrook Country Club. Mrs. Bair was accomplished at handiwork and enjoyed playing the organ, writing letters, poetry and songs and spending time with her family.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law; Lonnie and Janet Ebersole of Mansfield, and Robert and Vicki Bland of Shelby; two daughters and sons-in-law; M. Virginia and William Buck of N. Ft. Myers, Fla. and Rosemary and Tom Wilkinson of Shelby; 17 grandchildren, Mark and Jeanne (Bland) Oney, with whom she made her home, Shannon Bland, Steven and Jim Wilkinson, LuAnn Sandy, Lee Ellen Augustine, Terrence Buck, Rodney, David, Michael, Douglas and Daniel Ebersole, Emily Knipp, Laurie Storch, Debra Graham, David Jarrell and Becky Jarrell; 38 great grandchildren; two step children, Howard and Delbert Bair; 12 step grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mildred and Thelma Frank,both of Shelby; nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, E. Marion Ebersole and Noland V. Bair, her former husband Robert Marsh Bland, one great granddaughter, Stephanie Knipp; three brothers, Warren, Marion and Herbert Frank; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Viola Frank and two step sons, Russell and Robert Bair.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday from the Barkdull Funeral Home in Shelby. Reverend Douglas O. Tackett, of the Taylortown Community Church, will officiate with interment in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made to the Shelby Home and Public Health.
