Thomas Francis Fitzgerald son of John C. Fitzgerald and Winnifred Cullenane was born 17 February 1878 in Salisbury MA. He was baptized the same day by Rev John Brady. His sponsors were Judith (Cullenane) Kelly, aunt of Winnifred, and John Waldron.

The 1880 census list him with his family in Salisbury and he was listed as "Frank T." His father died in 1893 and by the 1900 census he was living at 81 Main St. in Amesbury with his mother and brothers James E., John C. Joseph and William. He was listed as Thomas F. born February 1878, 22 lampshop spinner. His sister Margaret was living close by with her husband James Nally and their children.

On 5 June 1907 Thomas Francis Fitzgerald, 29, metal spinner, of Amesbury, married Lillian S(arah) Fogg, 23, stitcher, of Amesbury, daughter of John Fogg and Sarah Morrill Fogg. They were married by Rev. John J. Nilan.

In 1910 Thomas and Lillian were living at 2 Fourth? St. in Amesbury with their daughter Winifred age 11/12. Next door were Lillian's parents John L and Sarah Fogg with their son Charles age 25.

Thomas registered for the draft in 1918 and his draft card says he was born Feb. 17 1878 and was 40 years old. He was living at 3 Center St. in Amesbury, was working at Harrison Bros. works in Amesbury as millwright, he had blue eyes and brown hair.

Thomas' life was cut short by the flu epidemic of 1918. He died 3 October 1918 Pneumonia. Lillian was listed as administrax of the estate on 18 November 1918. The children listed as minors were Winifred, John C. and James J Fitzgerald. Their fourth child Frances N. was not yet born. On 29 November Thomas' brothers James E. and John C. posted bond of $800. There was no settlement with these papers. Probably all the assets were used up by the time the children were grown.
