He was listed as Thomas F. born February 1878, 22 lampshop spinner. His sister Margaret was living close by with her husband James Nally and their children.

Thomas' life was cut short by the flu epidemic of 1918. He died 3 October 1918 Pneumonia. Lillian was listed as administrax of the estate on 18 November 1918. The children listed as minors were Winifred, John C. and James J Fitzgerald. Their fourth child Frances N. was not yet born. On 29 November Thomas' brothers James E. and John C. posted bond of $800. There was no settlement with these papers. Probably all the assets were used up by the time the children were grown.
