Charles Cartwright Dead
Charles Cartwright, a well known and
highly esteemed resident of Sandy Ridge,
died at his home in that place on Wednesday
of last week. His death was the
result of bronchial trouble, with which
he had been ailing for some time.
The deceased was aged 56 years. He
was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
William Cartwright, who have both been
dead for some time. A sister, Mrs.
Sarah A. Stonebraker, died April 20th.
Mr. Cartwright was a member of the U.
B. Church.
Besides his wife he leaves to mourn
his death two sons and three daughters,
viz: Edward and Frederick, Mrs.
William Mills, Mrs. Edgar Pence, and
Miss Maggie, all residents of Sandy
Ridge. One brother, William, of Sandy
Ridge, also survives.
